RMVB Administration
Written by Raymond Moreau

General municipal elections for Reeve and Councillors are held every four years. The "resort" municipalities of Dunnottar, Winnipeg Beach and Victoria Beach hold their general elections on the fourth Friday in July (July 23, 2010).

The Province of Manitoba has amended the legislation governing municipal elections for 2010 relating to conflict of interest and campaign financing. Prospective election candidates must register with the Senior Election Official (SEO) before they begin to accept contributions, incur expenses, fundraise or borrow money for their campaigns. Please refer to the Notice of Registration by clicking on the RMVB Document Downloads tab - RMVB Public NoticesĀ - Election Registration Notice for further information.

More general information regarding the 2010 election is available on the Local Government website at http://web5.gov.mb.ca/mfas/mfas_elections.aspx

Specific information relating to the R. M. of Victoria Beach general municipal election will be communicated to the public on this website and by other meansĀ as the election process unfolds.
