Karl Hutchison returns as our golf course manager for 2010. The same staff will maintain the course (as last year) - Edwin Thomas, Mel Rawluk and our summer student Mike Johnson. The clubhouse staff consists of Rhett Thomas and Ramona Brandt.
The green fees and memberships have been increased for 2010 to hopefully cover the anticipated 2010 operating costs. The 2009 season was not a financial success, due in large part to the constant rain during most of the spring and summer, resulting in an operating deficit of approximately $23,100. Even with the increases to green fees and memberships we are projecting an operating deficit of over $10,000 in 2010. We are hopeful that the 2010 season will be much more conducive to golfing and result in sufficient revenue to offset our anticipated deficit.
The good news is the golf course is in excellent condition and is scheduled to open on Friday, April 30th at 10:00 am, weather permitting. Please note that the course will open earlier and close later as the season progresses.
