The 2010 "vehicle restricted" period begins on Friday, June 25th at 12:01 am and ends on Monday, September 6th (Labour Day) at 6:00 am. Therefore the last day that "non-permitted" vehicular traffic will be allowed in the "Restricted Area" is Thursday, June 24th until midnight. The municipal police will charge drivers travelling in the "restricted area" with "non-permitted" vehicles.

The municipal council issues vehicle permits for business or medical purposes only. Council reserves the right to require reapplication for a permit on an annual basis. The permit process is reviewed each year to make improvements and improve controls where possible.
