A public open house to review the draft development plan and land use policy is scheduled for Saturday, September 3, 2011 at the Seniors Scene (PTH59 & Ateah Road) from 10:00 am to 1:00pm.

The Development Plan review exercise addresses the entire Rural Municipality of Victoria Beach, emphasizing the creation of a sustainable and complete community, with particular focus on the environment, community, history and land management.

Two public consultation events were held in July and August of 2010. These initial open houses provided an overview of the background studies that support the Development Plan review and solicited resident input into the fundamentals of the plan.

The purpose of this Public Open House is to present and receive feedback regarding the formal draft of the Development Plan. A copy of the draft plan is now available in the Documents Downloads section of this website under Reports & Misc. Documents. The two documents are entitled: RMVB Draft Development Plan and RMVB Draft Land Use Policy.
